The novice, entry level adjuster or anyone changing professions into claims will gain the knowledge necessary to graduate the institute with the most accurate and updated knowledge of adjusting techniques necessary to hit the streets and actually be an insurance adjuster and not an "adjuster with a license" without knowledge.  We are training people to be adjusters that can actually hit the streets, apply their skills and be useful as an adjuster as soon as they complete our school. 

 

For far too long, the mentality in the claims business, especially when it relates to an "adjuster with a license lacking knowledge" has been to make sure the person is licensed in an applicable state and send them out into the world... without a clue!  At ATI, we do not believe in that approach and believe that training is the key to success in the claims industry.  When a person graduates from our 4 week school, they are ready to adjust losses. The two week course will significantly enhance the 1-2 year adjuster's knowledge and bring him or her to a 5 year level in just two (2) weeks: results may vary depending on experience, knowledge and willingness to learn.

Amassing a vast knowledge of the adjusting business over the last 28 years, Mr. Harper has specialized training all aspects of the adjusting industry starting as an adjuster.  He moved on to become a successful GA then moving on to roles as corporate training manager, regional manager and various other management level position within direct writer companies and independent adjusting services.  Mr. Harper is the lead training coordinator at ATI and has been instrumental in developing and writing the curriculum for all courses. His talent for teaching is unsurpassed while keeping the teaching on the human side with adjuster stories and proper applications for handling difficult claims issues and files.
